Premier Retained Search Firm Expands to Meet Demand for Revenue-Generating Sales and Business Development Leaders to Drive Revenue and Accelerate Growth for Tech Companies
March 4, 2020 – Palo Alto, CA – Fortra Search, the preeminent executive search firm focused on matching proven sales and business development leaders with growing technology firms, today announced the addition of Christine Williams as Partner. Ms. Williams, an established search expert with a history of working exclusively with tech companies, joins the firm with an impressive list of clients she has worked with at leading companies including Conviva, Datadog, DoorDash, Reltio, SendGrid, and Roblox.
“Fortra Search is known for delivering the very best executive-level sales and business development talent to fuel growth and capitalize on market opportunity,” said Andy Grosso, founding partner at Fortra Search. “Having worked with Christine for two decades, I’m confident that she’ll bring the right mix of technical, analytical, relationship and networking skills to every search. Christine is a technology industry veteran with a broad network and deep relationships with both candidates and companies. I believe that our clients will enjoy working with her and will be pleased with the results of each search she works on.”
Ms. Williams joins Forta Search with deep and diverse experience in technology. Christine started her career in customer advocacy and engagement roles, where she perfected critical client service techniques. She gained product management and partner engagement expertise during her tenure at successful companies such as Logitech, Mpath/HearMe and Autonet Mobile. She served as Director and Client Engagement Leader at Palo Alto Venture Architects where she gained a deep understanding of the critical nature of revenue-generating hires for venture-backed companies. Immediately prior to joining Fortra Search, Christine spent four years as an executive recruiter at Riviera Partners, a San Francisco-based search firm focused on tech leadership roles. At Riviera, she focused on searching a diverse candidate pool to effectively place technology leaders.
“I am excited to work with the team and clients at Fortra,” said Ms. Williams. “I believe the right sales and business development leadership is one of the most critical factors in a company. Matching highly-skilled men and women to the right opportunity, at the right company, at the right stage is rewarding for both candidates and companies. And, as a recruiter, it’s also rewarding to see the results these individuals deliver in their roles. I look forward to working with the partners, clients, and candidates at Fortra.”
Fortra Search was founded on a single idea: Sales is the business engine that creates momentum and growth for important companies. Fortra focuses exclusively on sales and business development leadership roles, matching proven candidates with great opportunities in growing companies.
Fortra’s partners are directly involved in every search, leveraging their combined technology recruiting experience of more than 70 years to get the job done. The firm specializes in tech, with notable placements in security, networking, and Wi-Fi, mobile, video analytics, big data, eCommerce, SaaS, app development, consumer and enterprise software. Fortra has placed senior sales leaders in top firms including PayPal, WePay, Bonfire, Rapid7, FinancialForce, Avangate, CloudMondo, Elastic, and Zuora. Fortra partners have established broad networks of trusted relationships over more than two decades, giving them access to a large network of active candidates.
“There is no magic; no miracle matching technology; and no one-size-fits-all search methodology. Finding the right candidate requires real work, a deep understanding of the need, and relationships with qualified candidates. We know that landing the right sales leader can be the difference between the growth or failure of a company. We work harder because we want to make hiring a sales leader a strategic win for the clients and candidates we serve,” concluded Mr. Grosso.
