What You Will Do
The VP of marketing will be responsible for customer growth at Car IQ. This role will be responsible for campaigns, demand generation, and digital marketing activities, owning the lifecycle in praetorship with sales while managing a budget. As a strategic, hands-on leader, you’ll partner with other leaders and stakeholders across Car IQ to build integrated, highly-targeted campaigns and programs that drive customer acquisition, retention, and expansion. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to drive highly measurable ROI on investments continually evaluating programs to maximize spend and efficacy. You will also navigate unforeseen obstacles gracefully in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives
- Implement data-driven marketing approaches to optimize campaign performance and customer engagement
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum impact
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Operations teams to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and co-marketing opportunities to expand market reach
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to drive continuous improvement and innovation
- Own setting and achieving customer acquisition targets and supporting marketing budgets in partnership with the marketing channel owners and Finance
- Work with Product Management to create a seamless experience, removing pain points and boosting conversion. Be your customers’ advocate
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in marketing roles within the fintech sector, preferably in B2B payments or related industries
- Proven experience in successfully scaling marketing endeavors during hyper-growth phases, preferably in startup environments
- Understanding of the fleet market and small business industry, with a keen awareness of the unique challenges and opportunities
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies
- Ability to use data to drive strategy, execution, and optimization
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences
- A strategic mindset, coupled with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
